40.3 Performance Racing (Tunables)
Designed for sailors with a Medium Air Rating‚ a Tunables Endorsement and who routinely carry and fly a spinnaker while sailing and racing‚ this class explores deep boat preparation‚ tuning‚ sailing analytics‚ next level tactics‚ local conditions‚ handicapping‚ fitness and team management. This class is designed to support the sailor seeking to race their own boat or join and contribute immediately to a competitive amateur team.
This class will meet once a week for four weeks with required practice.
All sailing will be done aboard Soling and J-24s.
Prerequisites: 10.1‚ 10.2‚ 20.1‚ 20.2‚ 30.1 and a Medium Air Rating and a Tunables Endorsement or equivalent and a pre-assessment.
