2022/23 Winter Seminars and Classes

Strengthening your Partnership by Sailing

Partners in marriage for 31 years and in sailboat ownership for 17 years‚ Eliz and Clay Greene will share what they’ve learned about sailing while wedded. They’ll tell where and how they learned to develop complementary sailing skills despite different learning styles‚ how they faced down gender and role stereotypes‚ how‚ when the time came‚ they added kids into the mix‚ and how sailing has made married life more interesting and fun.

About your instructors: Clay & Eliz Greene cruise and race on their Catalina 387 named Cattywampus with their adult daughters (when their busy schedules allow)‚ their awesome race crew‚ and hopefully their 5-year-old Australian Shepherd (if she’d just stop barking at the sound of the winch). During the dark times of the off-season‚ they are avid Wisconsin Volleyball fans (Go Badgers)‚ love to travel‚ and dream about boat projects.
