Joe Horan and Dale Peters – both avid recreational iceboaters – will share their experiences building‚ sailing‚ and repairing their own DN iceboats. They’ll share the story of the ad-hoc group of DN enthusiasts that meets in Northwestern Wisconsin‚ as well as tips‚ tricks and tools needed to make a decent boat as we kick off our own iceboat building and repair operation at MCSC!

About your instructors: In his 6th decade of sailing on soft and hard water‚ Dale Peters still takes every opportunity he can to seek out the thrill of wind powered speed. Joe Horan‚ a long-time friend of MCSC‚ teams with Dale to find black ice anywhere in the Midwest.
