10.1a Fundamental Sailing (Daytime)
Our nationally acclaimed 8-session‚ 24-hour Fundamental Sailing course combines on-the-water practice and classroom study in a safe environment to make learning to sail easy and fun. Learn basic sailing techniques including tacking‚ jibing and sail trim.
While not guaranteed‚ most students will receive a Rating‚ enabling free‚ unlimited use of MCSC’s fleet of Ensign sailboats in appropriate weather conditions. If a Rating is not issued‚ connections and plans are made to facility eventual Rating via open sailing practice.
Class meets Monday through Thursday for two weeks. Fridays may be used as make up class days in case of inclement weather.
