Advanced Sailing Course 2020
**We have completed all of our on-the-water course offerings for 2020. We look forward to seeing you in 2021! The 2021 schedule should be available in February.**
MCSC’s Advanced Sailing courses are aboard Ensigns or J-24’s. Gain valuable experience in helmsmanship‚ teamwork‚ boat management‚ and sail trim‚ as well as mooring‚ reefing‚ and more.
Please note: there is *no* guarantee that a Heavy Air rating will be earned in this course. This course offers advanced theory and instruction‚ and on-the-water practice of advanced skills‚ so that members can learn and practice in advance of earning a Heavy Air rating.
Prerequisite: Medium Air rating‚ for at least one season‚ or Instructor consent.
